 The overall design objective was to produce an MPV style vehicle, which reflects the new trend in the mini-car market all over the world. The engineering program was established with the aim of producing a vehicle which focused on safety, whilst also providing excellent driving characteristics. In addition the levels of quality would be further improved. |

 Rear wind- screen wiper |
Matiz has a rear windscreen wiper with washer(SE). The
unit operates on an intermittent setting and is controlled by pushing away from the
steering wheel on the stalk control. To wash the rear screen the stalk is depressed one
stage further. The washer nozzle is integrated in the rear wiper,
making it possible to inject the washer liquid adequately and evenly. |

Passive antenna is fitted on the front center of the roof.
It can be removed for the car washed.
